Assembly Components
Description

This towbar kit brings together the key components needed to equip a compatible vehicle for towing, combining a matched towbar assembly with dedicated wiring and control electronics. The towbar offers a towing capacity of 1200kg with a 120kg ball load rating, and is supplied with tongue 7364. An 1800mm tail harness with a 7 pin flat connector and wiring details specified as 1800 ECU1 supports connection to trailer electrics, with an indicative fit time of 120 minutes. Compatible fitment is noted for Mazda 3 2013-on.

Includes

  • 1 x Towbar for Mazda 3 (12/2013 - on) (MA84L), providing a maximum towing capacity of 1200kg with a 120kg ball weight rating
  • 1 x 7 Pin Flat Tail Harness 1800mm (WLT002), used with patch looms to complete the wiring connection to the trailer socket
  • 1 x Electronic Control Unit (04826) (ECU1), an electronic control unit bypass module that isolates the vehicle's BCM or can-bus system from the trailer wiring circuit
